Job Summary
Game District is seeking passionate and creative Trainee Game Artists to join their art team. This entry-level role is for fresh graduates or self-taught artists eager to start a career in game art. Responsibilities include assisting in creating 2D/3D game assets, supporting senior artists, learning design principles, participating in brainstorming, and continuously improving artistic skills under experienced mentors.
Must Have
- Assist in creating 2D or 3D game assets such as characters, props, and environments.
- Support senior artists in preparing visuals and art assets for game production.
- Learn and apply basic design principles including color, lighting, and composition.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to bring creative ideas to life.
- Receive feedback, iterate, and continuously improve your artistic skills.
- Fresh graduates in Art, Design, or Media — or self-taught artists with a creative portfolio.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or other digital drawing tools.
- Understanding of drawing, composition, and color.
- Genuine passion for games, creativity, and continuous learning.
- Full-time availability required.
Good to Have
- Exposure to game art or experience working on small game projects.
- Basic understanding of 3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max).
- Familiarity with Unity.
