Transcon (Ground Transportation) Customer Service Representative

The Transcon (Ground Transportation) Customer Service Representative ensures smooth and timely freight process flow, accurate data entry, and tracking of Transcon files. Responsibilities include accurate client and vendor billing, timely freight delivery and clearance, and interacting with customers to meet service standards. The role also involves maintaining good relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance, timely network communications, meeting KPI standards, and understanding customer procedures to maintain internal DLSOPs.

Must Have

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow

• Understand customer procedures and maintain DLSOPs
• 6 months to 1 year related experience
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Fluent in English

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of Ground Transportation MX documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
• Fluent in English
