Join the Siri NL Platform team as a Triage Engineer to help shape the future of Apple Intelligence. This role involves being the first line of signal-detection for incoming issues across Siri, triaging large volumes of reports, identifying patterns, validating behavior, and partnering with engineering to accelerate fix times. You will also improve processes by automating or streamlining workflows. Good To Have:
  • Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Swift, or similar) for basic regression analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of API and SPI testing.
  • Experience with data analytics platforms such as Tableau.
  • Experience with bug management systems and dev tools.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems.
Must Have:
  • Triage and classify incoming issues across multiple product surfaces.
  • Analyze logs and behavior to determine severity, priority, and likely ownership.
  • Identify trends, recurring failures, and emerging regressions across reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering to clarify behavior, reproduce issues, and verify fixes across multiple build trains.
  • Understanding of modern software lifecycles and client/server architectures.
  • Proficiency in analyzing logs to troubleshoot crashes, hangs, and performance issues.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize high volumes of internal and external feedback.

You will be the first line of signal-detection for incoming issues across Siri and work to surface the most meaningful problems fast. You will triage large volumes of reports, identify patterns, validate behavior, and partner with engineering to accelerate fix time. You will also improve the process itself: spotting repeated workflows and automating or streamlining them. This role is ideal for someone early-career who loves debugging, enjoys understanding how complex systems fail, and gets satisfaction from automating the boring stuff at scale. As a Screener on the Siri NL Platform team, you will: Triage and classify incoming issues across multiple product surfaces, Analyze logs and behavior to determine severity, priority, and likely ownership, Identify trends, recurring failures, and emerging regressions across reports, Collaborate with engineering to clarify behavior, reproduce issues, and verify fixes across multiple build trains, build queries, dashboards, and lightweight automations to reduce manual screening work over time, and partner with platform and tooling teams to improve triage accuracy, throughput, and quality bar. This role rewards people who are curious, organized, data minded, and who enjoy making systems faster and smarter.

  • Understanding of modern software lifecycles and client/server architectures
  • Experience working with software frameworks and supporting client adoption.
  • Proficiency in analyzing logs to troubleshoot crashes, hangs, and performance issues.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize high volumes of internal and external feedback.
  • Skilled in interpreting and synthesizing detailed written information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a QA or screening role.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Swift, or similar) for basic regression analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of API and SPI testing.
  • Experience with data analytics platforms such as Tableau.
  • Experience with bug management systems and dev tools
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,300 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
