Unity Team Lead

X-FLOW is a mobile game development company established in 2018. We gained recognition after the release of Happy Color, the most popular digital coloring book and one of the most successful ad-driven mobile apps in the world. We take pride in our diverse and talented team and partners, spread across the UK, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and other regions worldwide. Together, we are working on developing new market-leading products and are preparing to make another significant contribution to the mobile gaming market.

We're looking for a strong, experienced Unity Team Lead to drive the next evolution of Happy Color. You’ll take ownership of the client-side development team and set a new standard for execution, architecture, and strategy.

This is more than just a leadership role — we're seeking someone who combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, team development skills, and a drive to build exceptional products.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and grow the Unity client team for Happy Color.
• Define and evolve the client architecture with scalability, maintainability, and performance in mind.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Analytics teams.
• Translate product vision into a technical roadmap and team execution.
• Establish best practices, workflows, and code quality standards.
• Mentor engineers, hire new talent, and develop a high-performing culture.
• Drive cross-platform excellence across phones and tablets.
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Expert in Unity (C#) with 5+ years of mobile development experience and strong understanding of game/app architecture.
• Experience working on live products with a large user base.
• At least 3 years in a lead position — you're not just a coder, you're a multiplier.
• Working knowledge of Flutter or willingness to dive into it where needed.
• Solid understanding of client-server interaction.
• Experience with analytics (Firebase, Adjust).
• Strategic mindset — you think in systems, not just features.
• Passion for building high-quality mobile experiences.
• Russian - fluent, English - Upper-Intermediate.
• Nice to have: A/B testing frameworks, app performance monitoring tools.
