This Product Owner role focuses on developing a new mobile game from the ground up. Responsibilities include defining the game's vision, strategy, and roadmap; conducting market research; creating and maintaining the product roadmap; managing the product budget; making decisions on team resources; collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, artists, QA); ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional user experience; and developing effective monetization models. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner in the mobile gaming industry with a proven track record of launching successful mobile games.

Job Details

Are you passionate about mobile gaming and eager to shape a game from the ground up? We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to spearhead the development of a new mobile game. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the game. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product aligns with market needs and delivers exceptional value to players.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Сonceptualize new mobile games, develop and communicate a clear and compelling vision for the new games - take full ownership of the process.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, user preferences, and competitive landscapes.
  • Create and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of game features.
  • Be responsible for following the product budget.
  • Make decisions on all people resources in the team.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, artists, and QA teams to translate the product vision into actionable tasks.
  • Ensure the final product meets high-quality standards and provides an exceptional user experience.
  • Develop and implement effective monetization models suitable for the game's genre and target audience.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the mobile gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of launching successful mobile games (prototyping / development / LiveOps).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of current trends in the mobile gaming market.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent skills in time and cost estimation, team workload planning and providing realistic forecasts on project outcomes.
