Collaborate with a passionate team to shape outstanding user experiences for Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S) products. This role involves a human-centered design process including analysis, exploration, storytelling, concept design, prototyping, and usability testing. In this role, you will collaborate with a passionate team to shape outstanding user experiences for products and solutions developed by the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S) business unit. At IGT, we are dedicated to supporting patients through innovative, minimally invasive procedures, helping them return to the lives they love. Your role:
At Philips, we follow a human-centered design process including analysis, exploration, storytelling, concept design, prototyping, and usability testing. We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, bringing strong skills in visualization, interaction, information architecture, and prototyping. Your ability to listen, empathize, and co-create will help us deliver solutions that truly meet user needs. For this role, we welcome team members who enjoy collaborating with developers and bring strengths in visual UI design.
- Understanding people, business and societies, framing the problem with a strong focus on user needs and requirements;
- Creating user focused strategies, innovations, solutions and experiences and the user testing and validation of these, considering usability, sustainability and appropriate visual and verbal articulation in line with Philips’ Design Language System and Brand guidelines;
- Contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment, where team members inspire and learn from each other”;
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, communicating thoughtfully and sharing design decisions transparently;
- Embracing feedback and guidance, and actively supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Design, Design Research, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with complex systems for professional use in regulated environments, preferably healthcare.
- Ability to synthesize different perspectives and reframe design challenges.
- Works together with project teams to co-create design solutions, considering the broader ecosystem and valuing diverse perspectives
- Experience with Figma, MS Office, prototyping tools, and Agile methodologies
- Applying a company’s Design System and Brand guidelines
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
