Verification & Validation Engineer (2 years contract)

Ceragon is a global innovator in end-to-end wireless connectivity, specializing in transport, access, and AI-powered managed & professional services for 5G & 4G broadband. The Verification & Validation Engineer will participate in system verification of wireless backhaul platforms for 5G deployments, run and improve automated regression tests, design new automated tests, support R&D SW releases, and investigate defects. This role is a 2-year contract covering maternity leave.

Must Have

• BSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering
• Good English language skills in speaking and in writing
• Experience in Ethernet L2 switching
• At Least 1 - 3 years as test engineer
• Experience in fields of Telecommunication
• Experience in automation design, writing, and execution
• Experience with traffic generator tools (IXIA/XENA/Spirent)

Good to Have

• Experience in microwave radio, modulation, error-proof data transmission
• Experience in Linux environment
• Experience in Ethernet L2 protocols (MSTP, G.8032, LLDP, LACP, OAM)
• Experience with Metro Ethernet Services (P2P/MP EVC)
• Experience working with Jira

What will you do:

• Take part in System verification of wireless backhaul platforms, part of 5G deployments.
• Run Regression Automated tests and improve them continuously (by adding new features and specific use cases, improve test scalability and efficiency)
• Design and improve automated tests for existing/new features
• Take part of RnD SW releases to customers
• Record, investigate and log defects into database

Job Requirements

What are we looking for:
