Network Engineer

Ceragon is seeking a Network Engineer with strong analytical skills and a detailed understanding of networking methodologies, practices, and systems. The role involves maintaining the organizational network across 30+ global branches, production lines, and warehouses, as well as managing company network and wireless systems protecting over 2500 servers and endpoints. The engineer will provide support for network issues, work with distributed on-prem and cloud environments, and be a member of the incident response team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a problem-solver, and comfortable working under pressure.

Must Have

• At least 1 year of work experience as a network/security engineer
• Proven experience with configuring and managing firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless (controllers and APs)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English
• Understanding of LAN and WAN technologies, Internet, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, NAT, IP

Good to Have

• Cisco CCNA certification or any equivalent certificate
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate, Forti Manager, Forti APs and Wireless Controllers
• Experience with Portnox NAC solutions
• Experience with Linux and Microsoft-based platforms

Network engineer is expected to have rigorous attention to details, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines. To ensure success, a network engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, Wireless controller, and NAC systems. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, network problems, and troubleshooting of the network. In addition, the Network engineer will be a member of Ceragon incident response team.

The Job’s Key accountabilities are:

• Maintain the organizational network with about 30 plus branches, production lines and warehouses around the world.
• Maintain the company network and wireless systems, which protect over 2500 servers and endpoints with variety of applications
• Providing support to the organization's employees in the company network issues.
• Distributed network that includes on-prem and cloud environments together

Mandatory requirements:

• At least 1 years of work experience as a network\security engineer
