The VFX Line Producer will work closely with the VFX Producer to strategize and implement tasks crucial for project delivery on time and budget. This predominantly studio-based role in Barcelona involves liaising with all production aspects and the Creative Head of Studio, with occasional on-set work. Fluent Spanish is essential for local client interaction. The role supports high-end VFX film and TV projects, maintaining accurate and efficient operations.
Must Have:
  • Work with Producer, Leads, Supervisors to create and run schedule, track workflow, meet deadlines.
  • Oversee Coordinators, ensure good organization of dailies, rounds, meetings, notes, follow-ups.
  • Ensure production database is updated daily with notes and critical information.
  • Communicate information quickly and succinctly to crew and other departments.
  • Anticipate and communicate issues to Producer and Supervisor to resolve problems quickly.
  • Maintain accurate summary of project’s progress based on previous day’s artists work.
  • Take responsibility for knowing schedule details and advising Coordinators.
  • Oversee execution of client deliveries for temps and finals.
  • Manage edits alongside Editorial department.
  • Manage resources and communicate coherently with other support departments.
  • Be pro-active and solution-orientated.
  • Highly organised with first-class time/project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks.
  • Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team towards a common goal.
  • In-depth understanding of live-action and CG based VFX workflows.
  • In-depth understanding of common file formats and resolutions.
  • Knowledge of production database tools (e.g., Shotgrid).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Previous scheduling experience.
  • Fluent Spanish.

The Role:

The VFX Line Producer will liaise with all aspects of the production and work closely with and on behalf of the VFX Producer to help strategise and implement tasks and targets crucial to the delivery of the project, on time and on budget.

The role is predominantly studio-based in our Poblenou, Barcelona office, working closely with the Creative Head of Studio, with occasional on-set work. Fluent Spanish is essential for working directly with local clients. We’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.We’re seeking an experienced VFX Production Coordinator to join the team who has experience in supporting high end VFX film and tv projects. They will be working with Production, VFX Supervisors and Leads to maintain the accurate and efficient running of an exciting project in Barcelona, Spain.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a VFX/CG related environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Producer, Leads and Supervisors to create, implement and run the schedule, track and manage the workflow through the departments and meet internal and external deadlines
  • Oversee Coordinators and ensure the good organisation of dailies, rounds and meetings and the taking of notes and follow up of information
  • Ensure the production database is kept updated daily with notes and critical information
  • Communicate information quickly and succinctly to the crew and other departments
  • Anticipate and communicate issues to the Producer and Supervisor in order to resolve problems quickly
  • Maintain an accurate summary of the project’s progress based on the previous day’s artists work
  • Take responsibility for knowing the details of the schedule and advising the Coordinators accordingly

  • Manage edits alongside the Editorial department

  • Other ad hoc duties as may reasonably be required
