Job Description

The Vice President, Revenue will lead all revenue-related operations, including Revenue Recognition, Revenue Assurance, Billings, Credit & Collections, and Order Management. This role ensures accurate and compliant revenue reporting, optimizes the quote-to-cash cycle, and supports strategic growth. The VP will partner with senior leadership, manage a global team, and ensure compliance with ASC 606 and SOX in a public company environment.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Vice President, Revenue will play a critical leadership role in the finance organization, overseeing all revenue-related operations. This includes Revenue Recognition, Revenue Assurance, Billings, Credit & Collections, and Order Management. The VP will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant revenue reporting, optimizing operational efficiency across the quote-to-cash cycle, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

This individual will partner closely with senior leadership across the company to ensure revenue operations are aligned with company goals, drive process improvements, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting in a public company environment. The VP will also serve as a key liaison with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with ASC 606, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.

A successful candidate will bring deep expertise in SaaS revenue models, public company compliance, and cross-functional leadership. This role will manage a globally distributed team across multiple disciplines and have experience of scaling teams to support continued growth.

Major Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive leader for all revenue-related functions, including revenue recognition, billings, collections, and order management.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards, partnering with the CAO and external auditors to support quarterly and annual public company audits.
  • Lead the quote-to-cash process, collaborating with Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with contractual terms.
  • Oversee global billing operations and credit policies to optimize cash flow and customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain SOX-compliant processes and controls across all revenue functions.
  • Drive automation and system enhancements to support scalable, efficient revenue operations.
  • Provide strategic insights and reporting to executive leadership, supporting forecasting, planning, and investor communications.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing global team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, including pricing, deal structuring, and M&A due diligence.
  • Ensure timely and accurate revenue reporting for SEC filings and internal management reporting.
  • Support international operations and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and operational leader with deep experience in revenue operations within a public SaaS company. You are a collaborative partner, a systems thinker, and a hands-on leader who can scale teams and processes to meet the demands of a high-growth environment. Specifically, you will possess:

  • 12+ years of finance and accounting experience, with 8+ years in senior leadership roles driving revenue accounting and operations strategy in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Proven experience in a publicly traded company, including SOX compliance and SEC reporting.
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience building, scaling and managing global teams across revenue functions, including billing, collections, and order management.
  • Strong systems acumen, with experience implementing and optimizing ERP and revenue systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to executive leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements, automation, and scalable processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related field. CPA or equivalent financial certification required.

JOB REQ COMPENSATION RANGE

The base salary range for this role is shown above. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s discretionary bonus plan, commission plan, and/or equity plan, depending on role.
