As a Video Game Tester at Lionbridge Games, you will play a fundamental role in elevating the quality assurance initiatives for our esteemed clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a comprehensive approach to game testing, ensuring that our clients' creations meet the highest standards of excellence.
Must have:
  • Fully engage with assigned games, completing them to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Systematically execute and update test cases, contributing to the development of a strong testing framework.
  • Assess product and game quality based on provided specifications, aligning with project requirements from external clients.
  • Deliver detailed bug reports with clear documentation, following project guidelines and client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough product analysis during testing, providing valuable insights and suggestions for ongoing product improvement to our client studios.
  • Gather and apply knowledge on testing methodologies, staying updated on trends in the ever-evolving video game market.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the testing team, actively sharing knowledge and insights to nurture a cooperative and innovative testing environment.

Job Details

As a Video Game Tester at Lionbridge Games, you will play a fundamental role in elevating the quality assurance initiatives for our esteemed clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a comprehensive approach to game testing, ensuring that our clients' creations meet the highest standards of excellence.

This job is done remotely, but does require occasional visits to our office in Brossard, QC.

What You Will Do:

  • Fully engage with assigned games, completing them to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Systematically execute and update test cases, contributing to the development of a strong testing framework.
  • Assess product and game quality based on provided specifications, aligning with project requirements from external clients.
  • Deliver detailed bug reports with clear documentation, following project guidelines and client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough product analysis during testing, providing valuable insights and suggestions for ongoing product improvement to our client studios.
  • Gather and apply knowledge on testing methodologies, staying updated on trends in the ever-evolving video game market.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the testing team, actively sharing knowledge and insights to nurture a cooperative and innovative testing environment.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in game testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills to convey findings and insights clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new testing methodologies and tools.
  • Effective communication skills in French and English to convey findings and insights clearly.
  • Beginner level spoken English and intermediate level written English required as most clients are outside Quebec. The source language of the tests and consoles belong to clients. Test cases need to be sent in the client’s language.
