Job Summary
Eyeline Studios, the virtual production division of Scanline VFX, is seeking a Virtual Production Producer. This role involves managing project budgets and schedules, overseeing daily production operations, and ensuring timely, high-quality project delivery. The producer will maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include bidding, resource allocation, production management, creating schedules, collaborating with supervisors and artists, building client relationships, mitigating risks, and working with diverse teams like On-Set, Virtual Art Department, Volumetric Capture, Digital Humans, and VFX. The producer will also liaise with global VFX Studios, foster partnerships, promote new technologies, handle administrative tasks, and mentor production staff.
Must Have
- Proven experience as a Producer in Virtual Production or VFX.
- Experience leading complex CG or VFX shows.
- Understanding of live-action and CG VFX methodologies and pipelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management (budgeting, scheduling) skills.
- Experience with bidding and estimating.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing production teams.
- Knowledge of production management tools (ShotGrid, Google Suite, MS Office, JIRA).

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful bidding, resource allocation, production, and management of Virtual Production projects including content creation, shoots, tests, and data acquisition
- Creates and maintains production schedule based on approved bid
- Partners with Supervisors, Leads, Artists, and other stakeholders to develop creative solutions and achieve project goals, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality
- Builds and maintains close relationships and rapport with clients, vendors, and other industry partners, to facilitate their needs and ensure that their project expectations are met or exceeded
- Ensures clear and open communication with clients, providing regular and timely updates on project status, milestones, deliverables and any changes to scope or schedules
- Identifies and proactively mitigates potential project risks or roadblocks, and communicates them to stakeholders as needed
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary and diverse project teams including On-Set, Virtual Art Department, Volumetric Capture, Digital Humans and VFX for final deliveries
- Determines allocation of resources on projects, including liaising with global VFX Studios as required
- Works in tandem with the Director, Content Production to foster progressive partnerships between Labs, Creative, Technological, and Production arms of Eyeline Studios
- Fosters the adoption, promotion and streamlining of new practices, frameworks, and technology as it applies to Virtual Production within the company
- Provides administrative tasks in the form of timecard billing review, resource projections, and general team management support
- Supervises and mentors assigned production staff, championing a positive, collaborative, inclusive and respectful work environment
- Participates and oversees work on virtual production and capture stages and on set, as required
Qualifications
- You are an experienced Producer within the Virtual Production or VFX industry with post-production experience leading complex CG or VFX shows from either the client or vendor side, with a proven track record of delivering high quality work
- You have a thorough understanding of live-action and CG based VFX methodologies, pipelines and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with clients, artists, and stakeholders, as well as build partnerships with technology teams
- Strong project management (budgeting, scheduling), resource allocation, organization and strategic planning skills
- Experience with bidding, estimating, and proposal creation for new projects
- You are self-motivated and focused, with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, adept at handling a fast-paced on-set environment
- Previous experience of leading and managing production teams, as well as strong knowledge of production management tools and software (ShotGrid, Google Suite, MS Office Suite, JIRA)
- Advanced MS Word and Excel skills
