We Got This Covered is seeking fully remote weekly writers for trending news and entertainment. This role involves covering internet trends, entertainment news, and various franchises. Candidates should be self-starters, eager to learn, and responsive to feedback. The position can be freelance or full-time contractor, offering a chance to work with a passionate global team.

Must Have

• Help cover trending and breaking news
• Submit clean copy with minimal edits
• Meet deadlines for publishing stories
• Follow trending topics through Google Trends and Twitter
• Write about a variety of topics for the site
• 1-2+ years of editorial/journalistic experience, specifically focused on entertainment
• Fluency in English and excellent writing skills
• Knowledge of SEO practices, WordPress, and Trello
