Job Summary
The Intel Vision Technology Group (VTG), a Computer Vision Center of Excellence, is seeking a skilled Windows Driver Developer for its Research and Development SW team. This role focuses on developing best-in-class Image processing hardware IP for Intel client chipsets. The developer will design, validate, and optimize Windows device drivers for camera hardware and media system frameworks, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration and delivering high-performance, reliable solutions.
Must Have
- Develop and maintain Windows device drivers using Windows driver kits.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and architecture teams to define driver requirements and integration strategies.
- Debug and resolve driver issues using tools like WinDbg, ETL, and Debug Viewer.
- Ensure compatibility across Windows versions and compliance with HLK and other certification requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and validation planning.
- Lead or contribute to architectural decisions for driver frameworks and protocols.
- 7+ years of experience with Windows internals and driver development frameworks (KMDF, UMDF, WDM, WDF).
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Windows kernel programming.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces and components such as PCI, camera IPs and sensors.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools and remote debugging techniques.
Good to Have
- Experience with audio, sensor, camera driver development.
- Exposure to HLK testing and Windows certification processes.
- Experience in using scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

Our Research and Development team is focused on developing and introducing state-of-the-art 2D cameras that set the stage for groundbreaking innovations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics engineering, Computer Science or any similar streams.
- 7+ years of experience with Windows internals and driver development frameworks (KMDF, UMDF, WDM, WDF).
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Windows kernel programming.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces and components such as PCI, camera IPs and sensors.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools and remote debugging techniques.
