Intel Foundry Services is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for the Secure Enclave program, focusing on server hardware management, lifecycle management, and operating systems (Linux and Windows). Responsibilities include deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Silicon Packaging Design servers to ensure system stability, performance, and security. The role involves close collaboration with development and design teams to derive infrastructure requirements, configurations, builds, and tests, applying industry best practices within Intel's enterprise infrastructure constraints. This position is integral to Intel's IDM2.0 strategy, supporting a world-class foundry business.

As an integral part of Intel's new Integrated Device Manufacturer 2.0 (IDM2.0) strategy, we are establishing Foundry Services (FS), a fully vertical, stand-alone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. Foundry Services will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European based capacity to serve customers globally. Foundry Services will be differentiated from other foundries with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe, and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from, including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP's, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. Foundry Services will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full PandL responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement, and capacity commitments. FS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings. We are expanding at a torrid pace to include our most advanced technologies, which are ideal for high-performance applications.

Intel Foundry Services is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for the Secure Enclave program. In this role, you will focus on server hardware management, lifecycle management, and operating systems (Linux and Windows). You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Silicon Packaging Design servers, ensuring system stability, performance, and security in alignment with key initiatives driving Intel Foundry's success. Your expertise in server hardware will be essential for optimizing our hardware infrastructure and supporting Silicon Packaging Design infrastructure efficiency, by conducting installations, upgrades, and management of Silicon Packaging Design applications to minimize downtime and provide fast responses.

Works closely with development and design teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, configurations, builds, tests, monitoring, and apply industry best practices to maintain those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or in a STEM related field of study.
  • 2+ years in infrastructure engineering, with a strong emphasis on server hardware, configuration, automated software installations, and lifecycle management.
  • 2+ years in Windows and Red Hat Linux Server infrastructure engineering including configuration, tuning, and support for various layered applications.
  • 2+ years of programming experience using any of the following: Linux/Windows, Python, PowerShell, Bash, C, C#, C++, or Perl to streamline OS and application management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph.
  • Deep expertise in both Windows and Linux Server OS environments, including configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and support for various layered applications.
  • 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, strong troubleshooting skills, with a emphasis on server hardware, configuration, automated software installations, and lifecycle management.
  • 4+ years of experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation of server management tasks. Experience in networking fundamentals with respect to software-defined networks.
  • Excellent documentation skills with a focus on precision and consistency in managing complex systems.

$103,880.00-$146,650.00
