Working Student in the AI Competence Team (m/f/d)

We are the new AI Competence Team of central IT at Axel Springer. Our mission: to use generative AI responsibly and effectively within the company.

Do you want to help shape the future? We develop concrete use cases, coordinate tools like ChatGPT Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and work closely with management and brands like BILD, WELT, or Media Impact.

What you will be doing:

• you support the research, evaluation, and testing of AI tools (e.g., GPT-based applications, automation solutions, Microsoft Copilot)
• you contribute to the development and training of AI agents
• you help with the management of our use case portfolio, prepare information, and support internal communication
• you develop prompts and templates for specific applications – in collaboration with IT teams and specialist departments
• you contribute your perspective – for example, in workshops, ideation sessions, or during the prototype phase

What you bring:

• you are studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Cognitive Science, or a comparable field
• you have an interest in generative AI, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, and modern AI tools
• initial experience with APIs, prompting, or AI frameworks (e.g., ChatGPT Agents, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI) is a plus – but not a must
• you work independently, structured, and enjoy contributing your own ideas
• you enjoy trying out new technologies and building usable solutions from them
• you communicate confidently in German and English
