Job Summary
This freelance role involves ideating, developing, and editing short-form video content for the Fluvsies world. Responsibilities include writing scripts, enhancing visuals with motion graphics and sound design, and collaborating with the creative team to deliver 5-7 shorts weekly. Candidates should be proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, possess motion graphics and sound design experience, and understand short-form storytelling and YouTube Shorts best practices.
Must Have
- Be proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects (or similar tools)
- Have experience with motion graphics, zoom/reframe effects, and sound design
- Have basic Photoshop skills (color correction, resizing, working with layers)
- Understand short-form story flow — including setup, tension, and payoff — and apply it to create engaging narratives
- Be consistent and able to work independently turning broad prompts to clear video ideas
- Have knowledge of YouTube Shorts best practices
- Be comfortable working with existing brand assets and adapting them for new content
- Have strong sense for pacing, humor, and emotional engagement
Good to Have
- Experience with Spine 2D animation, Moho or similar tools
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics and how to measure video performance
Job Description
You will
- Ideate and develop creative short-form video concepts that fit the Fluvsies world
- Edit short-form content using existing assets (animation, backgrounds, characters, etc.)
- Write short video scripts or outlines with strong hooks, pacing, and payoff
- Create and enhance visuals with text, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics
- Collaborate with our internal creative team to align tone, style, and storytelling
- Deliver 5-7 shorts per week on a consistent schedule
You should
- Be proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects (or similar tools)
- Have experience with motion graphics, zoom/reframe effects, and sound design
