The Marketing Specialist is an important individual contributor to Marketing, expected to be collaborative, results-driven, organized with keen attention to detail, and able to multi-task. They will deliver flawless execution of projects and work with a range of clients within and beyond NM, supporting the manager in identified projects and creating building blocks of NM’s marketing plans.

Must Have

  • Understand the scope and objectives of assigned projects and deliver against them.
  • Develop key elements of the marketing plan and/or create marketing materials.
  • Support strong internal client relationships by understanding needs, delivering high quality materials, and managing feedback.
  • Support the Digestive Health Institute (DHI) and Department of Transplant Surgery with social media activities.
  • Serve as the main coordinator for social media content planning and execution.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies across DHI and Transplant channels.
  • Moderate all channels in line with brand voice guidelines.
  • Review and analyze social analytics and generate reports with meaningful takeaways.
  • Familiarity with social media KPIs.
  • Social media copywriting experience.
  • Strong filming and camera operating experience, including framing, lighting, and audio capabilities.
  • Comfortable interviewing skills.
  • Solid understanding of storytelling and script writing.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to different hospitals across the health system.
  • Confidence in front of clinical leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of comparable experience.
  • An additional 2-3 years of experience in related field.
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills with a proactive and constructive attitude.

Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is an important individual contributor to Marketing. They are expected to be collaborative, results driven, organized with a keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and deliver flawless execution of their projects. The Marketing Specialist will work with a range of clients within and beyond NM.

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Specialist is an important individual contributor within the Marketing division. They support the manager/team in identified projects that often include multi-tasking various projects with the ability to anticipate and communicate needs of the project with the manager. The Marketing Specialist creates building blocks of NM’s marketing plans and, in doing so, learns fundamentals of strategic marketing. They are expected to be collaborative, results driven and deliver flawless execution of their projects

The Marketing Specialist supports the manager in the execution of assigned/identified projects:

  • Understands the scope and objectives of assigned projects and delivers against those objectives.
  • Develops key elements of the marketing plan and/or the creation of marketing materials.
  • Supports strong internal client relationships by understanding internal client needs, delivering high quality materials/plans, and effectively managing feedback.

ADDENDUM: DHI Transplant

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Digestive Health Institute (DHI) and Department of Transplant Surgery with social media activities that promote their work to both consumer and physician audiences
  • Serve as the main coordinator for social media content planning and execution
  • Develop and implement social media strategies across the DHI and Transplant channels
  • Moderate all channels in line with brand voice guidelines
  • Review and analyze social analytics and generate reports with meaningful takeaways

Skills:

  • In-app social media design knowledge (ex: Instagram Reels and Stories, carousel posts, music overlay, trending sounds, transitions, native copy features, hashtags, polls, emojis, GIFs, stickers, etc.)
  • Graphic design expertise (ex: Canva, Adobe, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Video editing expertise (ex: Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
  • Social media management tools (ex: Sprout Social)
  • Project management tools (ex: Workfront)
  • Deep understanding of multiple social media platforms
  • Staying on top of emerging social media trends
  • Cross-team collaboration and effective communication
  • Organization and attention to detail

Requirements:
