Job Summary
IQ-EQ is seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect to join its global Technology team in Hyderabad, India. This role involves establishing governance, defining group standards and policies for SharePoint, and managing the development and administration of SharePoint solutions. The architect will lead the technical delivery of a group-wide SharePoint Online Document Management Solution, design custom SharePoint sites, and provide technical advice to business customers. The position requires strong technical expertise in SharePoint, Power Apps, and Microsoft technologies, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must Have
- Establish appropriate governance and define group standards and policies within the SharePoint space.
- Take management responsibilities over the development and administration of SharePoint solutions.
- Lead the function responsible for developing and providing ongoing administration to the group’s SharePoint implementation.
- Work within a programme to deliver a group-wide Document Management Solution (DMS) on SharePoint Online.
- Design and build custom SharePoint sites and solutions, including no-code/low-code solutions.
- Provide technical and procedural advice to business customers.
- Shape the strategy, architecture, methodology, and standards for delivering SharePoint solutions.
- Provide technical governance and security over the SharePoint environments.
- Lead SharePoint solution development and implementation efforts.
- Develop solution architectures and implementation designs.
- Provide guidance, developing and defining business and technical requirements and solution designs.
- Lead SharePoint system technical analysis and design.
- Identify areas and processes for business leverage and process improvement.
- Estimating, planning, and managing workload.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce IT development governance policies.
- Liaise with other IT support teams, business areas, and third parties for problem resolution.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant IT and SharePoint experience.
- Minimum 4 years as a SharePoint Architect.
- Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCSE/MCSD).
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack (C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET).
- Strong relational database experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures & Triggers.
- Fully proficient spoken and written English.
Good to Have
- Experience with Association Management Systems.
- Experience in Marketing, Publication and/or Media industry.
- Exposure to low-code/no-code technologies including PowerApps Flow, SharePoint designer applications, Azure services.
- Additional European languages.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.

SHAREPOINT architect

Responsibilities
- As a result of continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SharePoint Architect to join our global team. This is an exciting opportunity for an action-oriented individual to establish appropriate governance and define group standards and policies within the SharePoint space, in accordance with the groups architectural policies. The individual will also take management responsibilities over the development and administration of SharePoint solutions within the group.
- You will collaborate with the wider Architecture function but will be responsible for the policies, including adherence to procedures, across the SharePoint services.
- You will also lead the function responsible for developing and providing ongoing administration to the group’s SharePoint implementation.
- You'll work within a programme to deliver a group-wide Document Management Solution (DMS) being built on SharePoint Online and continue to develop on-premises SharePoint 2016 (and above), as necessary, but mindful of the DMS programme’s migration away from on-premises SharePoint services.
- You'll design and build custom SharePoint sites and solutions including no-code/low-code solutions to support automation, integrations, and dataflows.
- Part of the role will also be to provide technical and procedural advice to business customers on how to get the best from our new product set.
- You will be tenacious and passionate, with the ability to take ownership of tasks whilst managing your time effectively, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- You will maintain excellent attention to detail and have a logical approach to solving problems under pressure and an active communicator on technical issues that affect client delivery.
- The role requires you to have the ability to communicate clearly and with impact in a fast-paced and high-pressure situations including the ability to challenge and influence the view of senior stakeholders respectfully, confidently, and effectively to bring a new perspective.
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
- Shape the strategy, architecture, methodology and standards for delivering SharePoint solutions.
- Provide technical governance and security over the SharePoint environments.
- Lead the technical / architecture delivery of a group-wide SharePoint Online Document Management Solution.
- Lead SharePoint solution development, and implementation efforts, providing technical design, system and architectural prototyping, and component development.
- Develop solution architectures and implementation designs in support of the group’s business-technology initiatives.
- Provide guidance, developing and defining business and technical requirements and solution designs as part of defined projects.
- Lead SharePoint system technical analysis and design employing model and event driven design practices including conceptual and functional prototypes, data analysis, and architectural and functional testing.
- Identify areas and processes where the business can better leverage and facilitate process improvement, helping with the wider digital transformation.
- Estimating, planning, and managing your own and your team’s workload to deliver priorities.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce IT development governance policies including following change control procedures.
- Liaising with other IT support teams, business areas and third parties in the investigation, resolution and escalation of problems and incidents, ensuring that SLA targets for application availability are maintained.

Qualifications
Required Experience
Education / professional qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferable) or equivalent work experience in information systems or related field
Background & Technical experience
- Relevant IT and SharePoint experience – 7 to 10 years.
- Minimum working experience of 4 years as a SharePoint Architect.
- SharePoint architecture, design, development, and implementation experience.
- Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCSE/MCSD).
- Experience with Association Management Systems.
- Experience in Marketing, Publication and/or Media industry.
- Experience utilising the full capability of MS Power Apps, workflows.
- Working exposure with SharePoint JSOM, CSOM Rest APIs etc.
- Experience in the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise-scale applications and solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack with C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET and other programming skills.
- Strong relational database and experienced with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures & Triggers.
- Experience using full lifecycle development methodologies with web-based applications.
- Experience integrating with backend operational and content management systems.
- Experience working on component-based applications including web services, application integration, patterns, and data access development.
- Exposure to low-code/no-code technologies including PowerApps Flow, SharePoint designer applications, Azure services is an added advantage.

- Experience of working in a complex, multi-country professional services, financial services or BPO organisation with complex processing requirements
- Multi-country experience and demonstrates an ability to work in a multi-cultural, talented, and demanding team environment.
