Senior Network Architect

The Senior Network Architect will lead the enterprise network infrastructure strategy, designing, implementing, and optimizing complex network solutions. This role involves architecting enterprise-wide network solutions including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data centers, Cloud Networks (AWS & Azure), and advanced firewalls. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, implementing security measures, managing network operations, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and effective communication of technical designs.

Must Have

• Architect and design enterprise-wide network solutions (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data centers, Cloud Networks, Firewalls, security systems).
• Develop network architectures meeting scalability, security, redundancy, and performance requirements.
• Configure and optimize network devices, protocols, and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Lead implementation and deployment of complex network solutions.
• Develop and enforce network security measures, policies, and standards.
• Manage handover sessions to transfer new solutions into Operations.
• Lead and coordinate network-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Manage project stakeholders and communicate project status.

Job Summary:

The Senior Network Architect role is to lead our enterprise network infrastructure strategy. This role will design, implement, and optimize complex network solutions that support our organization's technological and business objectives. The role requires a strategic thinker who can transform technical requirements into robust, scalable, and secure network architectures across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Architecture and Design:
• Architect and design enterprise-wide network solutions, including
• LAN, WAN, Wireless
• Data centers & Cloud Networks (incl. AWS & Azure)
• (Advanced) Firewalls and security systems
• Develop network architectures that meet business requirements for scalability, security, redundancy, and performance
• Evaluate and recommend emerging network technologies and industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align network designs with business objectives
• Network Implementation and Optimization:
• Configure and optimize network devices, protocols, and services for optimal performance
• (Proactively) Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring high availability and uptime
• Lead implementation and deployment of complex network solutions and infrastructure
• Develop and enforce comprehensive network security measures, policies, and standards
• Network Operations and Management:
• Manage Handover sessions to transfer new solutions from Transition into Operations
• Develop and implement network management processes, tools, and automation
• Ensure network documentation, diagrams, and inventories are up-to-date
• Provide guidance and mentorship to network engineering teams
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Lead and coordinate network-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
• Manage project stakeholders, communicate project status, and manage expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as security, cloud, and application teams
• Effectively manage project stakeholders through clear communication and expectation management
• Articulate complex technical designs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
