Job Description

As a Solution Engineer, you will understand customer challenges, translate them into Salesforce solutions, and present compelling stories based on their value drivers. You will collaborate with account teams, learning new products and approaches to clarify why Salesforce is the best solution. The ideal candidate adapts to changing customer environments, tailoring language and demos to diverse audiences to facilitate investment decisions.

  • Understanding and affinity with the outstanding business requirements of customers and translating/presenting those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers
  • Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training success for a software solution organization
  • Proven oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills
  • Confirmed time management skills in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in multifaceted, energizing environments
  • Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge
  • Self-starting capabilities with a knack to quickly research new technologies & business models/trends
  • Can form a compelling narrative dependent on the audience & research done before in non-technical language
  • Fluent English

About the role:

As a Solution Engineer you will be the one who understands the customers challenges and goals, translates these to Salesforce solutions and presents back a compelling story to the customer based on their own value drivers and language.

As you will work tightly together with multiple account executives, sales managers and other members of the account teams & implementation partners, during your work as Solution Engineer, you will quickly learn new products, approaches and solutions that will help you to clarify to customers why Salesforce is the best solution to help them scale.

The ideal candidate is a partner to the commercial team that can quickly adapt to the changing setting of the customers environment, as there are different challenges present in the various segments, industries and company stages that our customers are in, and uses this to adapt the language and demo environments to tell a story that can be understood by all audiences and help them to make a decision for an investment.

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding and affinity with the outstanding business requirements of customers and translating/presenting those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers.
  • Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training success for a software solution organization. We are open to a variety of backgrounds for the role.
  • Proven oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
  • Confirmed time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in multifaceted, energizing environments.
  • Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.
  • Self-starting capabilities with a knack to quickly research new technologies & business models/trends
  • Can form a compelling narrative dependent on the audience & research done before in non-technical language
  • Having existing Salesforce product knowledge and certifications is a plus, but not mandatory. Salesforce offers an extensive onboarding program to ramp up your presales skills, technical skills & introduce you to our way of working.
  • Fluent English & Swedish + Right to work in Sweden.
