As an Area Sales Manager your mission is to apply comprehensive knowledge of the LightForce system and promote it to accounts to facilitate trial and full integration. You will sell directly to professional orthodontic business owners, transforming an analog process into an innovative digital solution that makes orthodontic treatment planning, application, and straightening teeth easier, faster, and more accessible – while helping practitioners grow their business.
- Own and manage a defined territory, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Interacts with new or existing customers to increase sales of an organization's products or services.
- Researches and profiles potential sales targets to evaluate leads and develop sales pipelines.
- Utilizes proven sales techniques to initiate contact, assess customer needs, and present relevant solutions that generate revenue for the organization.
- Prepares and delivers presentations or demonstrations that educate and expose the customer to offerings and drive the sales process.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues in the sales process, ensuring a smooth transaction and positive experience for customers.
- Assist in the planning and execution of product evaluations, in-services, and clinical needs.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of company products and services, competitor positioning, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure all documentation is compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver high-level clinical and technical knowledge during case support.
- Identify opportunities to expand accounts and increase product penetration.
- Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Including 2+ years of relevant sales experience (ortho, dental, medical device)
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate complex buying environments
- Ability to engage in clinical conversations with orthodontists
- Ability to facilitate business discussions with orthodontic practice owners (Cash flow analysis, ROI, P&L, etc.)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong presentations skills
- Strong technical skills (Google, Microsoft, Salesforce)
- Ability to learn complex medical products and clinical procedures.
- Ability for frequent travel within territory and work non-standard hours as needed for territory coverage.
- Valid drivers license

- Work is generally performed in an open office, sedentary position.
