Job Description

As an Area Senior Brand Manager SEAT Panadol, you will be responsible for growing the Panadol portfolio across Southeast Asia and Taiwan (SEAT). You will partner closely with category and local market teams to shape strategic direction, implement brand activation plans that respect market regulations, prioritize innovation pipelines that fulfil consumer and customer needs, and work with cross-functional teams to explore claim upgrades—all to deliver sustainable topline and bottom-line results. This role can be based in Malaysia (Primarily), Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam or Taiwan.

Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 to 10 years of marketing experience
  • Expertise in brand, portfolio, NPD, communication, and P&L management
  • Strong in data and insight analysis to uncover new opportunities
  • Strong knowledge-based leadership, with the ability to synthesize multiple data sources into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders to successful outcomes
  • Skilled at leading within a matrix organization, integrating cross-functional and cross-market efforts
  • Proven track record of new product development and successful innovation launches
  • Experience in developing concepts, probing insights, and formulating brand/category strategies
  • Strong background in brand growth architecture, setting brand/variant priorities, and building portfolios

About the Role

As an Area Senior Brand Manager SEAT Panadol, you will be responsible for growing the Panadol portfolio across Southeast Asia and Taiwan (SEAT). Operating at an area/regional capacity, you will partner closely with category and local market teams to shape strategic direction, implement brand activation plans that respect market regulations, prioritize innovation pipelines that fulfil consumer and customer needs, and work with cross-functional teams to explore claim upgrades—all to deliver sustainable topline and bottom-line results. This role can be based in Malaysia (Primarily), Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam or Taiwan with relocation support provided if required.

A Day in the Life (What you’ll do)

Portfolio & Brand Development:

  • Leverage category, consumer, customer, and company growth drivers to identify future sources of growth and develop long-term innovation vision boards.
  • As a key design market, co-create and influence global innovation streams and define rollout timelines. Lead Geo-Expansion projects for the OTC SEAT business unit.
  • Provide area-level input to category, cascade category strategies to local operating companies, and ensure alignment.
  • Tailor global toolkits to the diverse needs of SEAT markets.

Innovation & Growth Delivery:

  • Manage portfolio complexity across markets by considering consumer insights, regulatory requirements, and healthcare system development status.
  • Develop compelling consumer insights and apply them across the marketing mix, including claims, product experience, and packaging.
  • Partner with local operating companies to formulate impactful short- and long-term vision boards via:
  • New product development
  • Sourcing site changes
  • Geographic expansion of existing formulas

Brand Strategy & Activation:

  • Define brand activation strategy and lead implementation across multiple SEAT countries.
  • Drive portfolio and A&P investments, delivering business and financial objectives.
  • Ensure seamless in-market launches by collaborating across functions, geographies, and matrix structures.
  • Safeguard consistent execution of Panadol’s global brand identity, brand heart, and visual brand language while ensuring relevance to local consumers.
