DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Works with more experienced team members to define the functional and technical needs of an organization and recommend solutions.
Assesses available technologies to meet needs, and then define technical specifications and designs following established procedures
Works with other engineers to develop and modifying technology systems, addressing functional, performance, security, quality, operations and monitoring needs.
Creates detailed test scenarios, performs testing and analyzes results.
Troubleshoot application systems issues
Documents all technology changes through appropriate change control.
Clearly communicates the status of the work, progress and obstacles to the team.
Requires staying current on engineering approaches, technologies and technique
Ensures work is completed in such a way to comply with established regulations and other internal controls
Provides on-call support as needed.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of one year of related experience in various software development technologies, patterns and practices.
Progressively developing expertise, applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Experience working on problems of low to moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Basic understanding of software development practices
Knowledge of Python programming language
Knowledge of Typescript programming language
Experience with React framework highly desired
Cloud computing experience highly desired
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $102,500.00 - $164,000.00 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
