Job Description

The Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating automated equipment and systems safely and consistently to achieve maximum performance. Key duties include performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, testing software solutions, monitoring equipment, and ensuring proper calibration. This role involves collaborating with process technicians, quality auditors, engineers, and production supervisors to resolve issues and improve production effectiveness, while adhering to all safety regulations.

Must Have:

Relationship with process technicians to validate tools, equipment and report each anomaly detected at the equipment level.
Relationship with the quality auditors or engineers for the validation of the equipment with the supervisors for proposals to reduce downtime.
Relationship with the spare parts store Responsible to define Maintenance intervention needs.
Relationship with production supervisors.
Relationship with engineering
Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on machines, equipment, and tools.
Test software engineering solutions.
Work closely with other technicians, engineers and manufacturing to resolve issues in order to achieve effectiveness of production.
Assist in the training of new employees on proper machine handling.
Ensure machines are properly calibrated.
Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
