Onward Search is seeking a BizOps Associate for a 3-month hybrid contract role in San Jose, California, with potential for extension. This role supports the Operations & PMO team at a global e-commerce company, focusing on driving employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and strategic alignment through planning, coordination, and communication.
Must have:
  • Partner with leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning and track execution of key projects.
  • Act as a connector across teams, streamlining communication and surfacing insights.
  • Prepare materials for leadership meetings, presentations, and company-wide communications.
  • Assist with operational processes, agenda setting, and cross-functional coordination.
  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, project coordination, or Chief of Staff support roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you'll join the Operations & PMO team at a leading global e-commerce company known for innovation, scale, and customer focus. You will support leadership in driving employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and strategic alignment.

  • Partner with leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement initiatives (e.g., all-hands, offsites, recognition programs, team-building).
  • Support strategic planning and track execution of key projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Act as a connector across teams, streamlining communication and surfacing insights to leadership.
  • Prepare materials for leadership meetings, presentations, and company-wide communications.
  • Assist with operational processes such as agenda setting, meeting follow-ups, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, project coordination, or Chief of Staff support roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
