Job Description

Onward Search is hiring an Internal Communication Writer for a travel and tourism client. This is a 3-month, full-time contract opportunity in Miami, Florida, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves supporting internal messaging, executive presentations, and corporate events within the Communication team, focusing on digital strategy, transformation, and innovation across business units. Responsibilities include crafting executive presentation content, internal email communications, and collaborating with designers to align visuals and language.

Must Have:
  • Write executive presentation content that communicates digital strategy, transformation, and innovation.
  • Craft high-quality internal email communications, including newsletters and announcements.
  • Collaborate with designers to align visuals and language in presentations, infographics, newsletters, white papers, and digital signage.
  • Serve as a content wrangler, gathering information and messaging from leaders across functional teams.
  • Build messaging frameworks, talking points, and leadership scripts.
  • Support quarterly corporate events with content for speeches, banners, print collateral, and digital experiences.
  • Maintain a consistent voice across internal touchpoints while tailoring messaging for different audiences.
  • Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in public relations, corporate communications, executive writing, or relevant fields.
  • High level of comfort with digital app and web software development subject matters.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and narrative development skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to chase down content, drive deadlines, and work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience writing for presentations, HTML email, white papers, and event communications (digital and print).
  • Strong grasp of tone, structure, and storytelling in corporate environments.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Confident communicator who can work closely with executives and cross-departmental teams.
  • Ability to commute to and work in-office several times per week in South Florida (Miami-Dade or Broward counties).
