Sr Software Engineer

In this role, you’ll join the Software Engineering team to design, develop, and support cloud-based digital privacy technologies. You’ll play a key part in building new solutions and migrating existing services to AWS, all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Sr. Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Implement new digital privacy technologies using AWS cloud programming.
• Support migration of existing services to AWS.
• Collaborate with Business, Software Engineers, and QA teams.
• Contribute to the full SDLC using Agile (scrum meetings, test-driven development, task estimates, design sessions).
• Support ongoing development and maintenance of services.

Sr. Software Engineer Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of software design & development (OOP, multithreading, scalability, transaction management).
• 2+ years of AWS services development experience.
• 2+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years of PHP development experience.
• 3+ years of relational database development (MySQL preferred).
• Strong knowledge of web services, data modeling, and database design.
• Experience with version control (SVN or Git).
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Experience with large datasets.
• MongoDB or NoSQL databases (preferred).
• Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code, containers) (preferred).
• Perl, JSON, RHEL/CentOS, regular expressions (preferred).
• Ruby on Rails (preferred).
• Industry experience in Financial Services or Identity Protection (preferred).
