The Build Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple projects and platforms. They will troubleshoot complex build issues, improve automation, and develop internal tools to streamline Unreal Engine developer workflows. The engineer will also support branching strategies and automate related processes while creating and maintaining documentation for build workflows and deployment procedures.
Good To Have:- Familiarity with Unreal Engine workflow tools
- Experience with TeamCity Kotlin DSL
- Experience with Perforce
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practice and configuration management tools
- Experience with scalable build infrastructure, cloud-based builds
- Familiarity with distributed compilation tools
- Experience with ASP.NET and DevOps workflows for .NET-based projects and environments
Must Have:- Unreal Engine build automation experience
- Understanding of the Unreal Engine build ecosystem (UBT, UAT, BuildGraph)
- Proficiency in any programming language, preferably C# or Python
- Basic familiarity with Unreal Engine C++
- Hands-on knowledge of at least one CI/CD system (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, Horde)
- Understanding of version control systems and branching workflows
