Attentive is seeking a Content Writer to join its Brand and Content Marketing team. This role is responsible for driving awareness, supporting demand generation, and enabling the revenue organization with thought leadership, educational content, data-driven reports, guides, brand stories, interactive campaigns, and web experiences. The Content Writer will play a critical role in crafting Attentive’s narrative across various formats including blog posts, social media, videos, and monthly newsletters. The position requires using customer and data insights to generate story ideas, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create original, data-driven pieces, and working with cross-functional teams like Product Marketing, Client Strategy, Sales, International, and Brand Design to align content with business goals. The goal is to elevate Attentive's brand by producing engaging content that addresses the needs of marketers in a changing world, infused with creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. The role also involves supporting editorial calendar management and staying current with industry trends and best practices in content marketing.
Must have:
  • 4-7 years of content writing experience in B2B.
  • Proficiency in AI tools like Writer or Grammarly.
  • Proficiency in PM tools like Monday.
  • Proficiency in Webflow as a CMS.
  • Develop data-driven content with a clear POV.
  • Strong storyteller with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Team player willing to take initiative.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.
Good to have:
  • Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, and marketing to marketers.

About the Role
The Brand and Content Marketing team is responsible for driving awareness, supporting demand generation, and enabling our Revenue org with thought leadership, email and SMS education, data-driven reports, guides, brand stories, interactive campaigns, and web experiences. 

We’re looking to add a key member to our team to help us continue to set a high bar for storytelling that engages our audience of B2C marketers and decision makers.
You'll play a critical role in crafting Attentive’s narrative across a wide range of formats, including blog posts, social media, videos and our monthly newsletter. This role will report to the Editorial Content Director.

What You'll Accomplish

  • You’ll use customer and data insights to come up with story ideas that fit out narrative and content themes
  • You’ll seek out SMEs within our organization and partner with them to create original, data-driven pieces that provide valuable insights
  • You’ll collaborate with Product Marketing, Client Strategy, Sales, International, and Brand Design, to make sure content is aligned with business goals and effectively supports lead generation and customer acquisition efforts, while exploring new and creative ways to engage our audience
  • You’ll elevate Attentive’s brand by producing content that caters to the needs of marketers faced with a changing world, infusing it with moments of surprise and delight
  • You’ll support editorial calendar management in Monday
  • You’ll stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing, and share your creative thinking and out-of-the-box ideas with the team, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in content creation

Your Expertise

  • 4-7 years of content writing experience in a fast-paced B2B setting (ideally in e-commerce, SaaS, and marketing to marketers)
  • Proficiency in AI tools such as Writer or Grammarly, PM tools such as Monday and Webflow as a CMS
  • Develop data driven content with a crisp  POV for blogs, articles, campaigns, product descriptions, social media, and landing pages.
  • Study industry trends and do competitive research to produce educational and thought-provoking blogs and articles.
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to use internal and external data and collaborate cross-functionally to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Team player willing to roll up their sleeves, show flexibility, and shift gears quickly
  • Love to flip the script on a story that’s been told before and repackage it using new insights, ideas, and examples
  • Manage inputs from various stakeholders, taking in the feedback that elevates a piece and weaving it into a meaty piece like a report or a guide that drives business outcomes
  • Navigate competing deadlines and context switch between multiple pieces of content without missing a beat

For US based applicants:
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually + equity + benefits
- Equity is a substantial part of the total compensation package
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
