Job Description
The Data Analyst/Developer will gain familiarity with Software Applications Engineering concepts and perform software and application development duties. This includes coding, unit testing, build and deployment activities, monitoring performance, understanding use cases, and assessing the impact of changes. The role requires adherence to coding guidelines, reporting task status, and completing training. Candidates should have a BA/BS degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Must Have:
- Gains familiarity with Software Applications Engineering concepts, practices and methodologies.
- Performs assigned software and application development duties.
- Codes and performs unit testing to detect and fix anticipated issues.
- Performs build and deployment activities for application development efforts.
- Monitors performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Works to understand use case and requirements and explore alternative solutions.
- Assesses how proposed development / changes may impact functionality and aligned applications or processes.
- Learns and adheres to company and industry standard coding guidelines, continuous integration (CI) and source code processes.
- Reports task status, issues and risks in timely manner to lead/manager.
- Completes assigned training/upskilling tasks on time.
- BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
