Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking Data Entry/Document Specialists for its Dallas location. This role involves document preparation, data entry, scanning, and quality control. Responsibilities include identifying form types, applying business rules, prepping and scanning documents, reviewing images, inputting and verifying data, following production procedures, indexing key data, printing control sheets, and managing inventory. Candidates should be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work at a sustained pace in a production environment.
Must have:
  • Identifying the type of form
  • Applying the appropriate business rule
  • Prepping and scanning documents
  • Quality control of digital images
  • Review of images and information
  • Inputting data from forms into appropriate fields
  • Verifying and checking data accuracy
  • Following production procedures and completing internal documentation and tracking
  • Indexing Key Data into multiple software applications
  • Printing Document Control Sheets for all records
  • Moving, stacking and shelving inventory
  • Inventorying box and file level inventory
  • Adhering to Imaging Center guidelines to maintain a clean work environment
  • Familiarity with PC and other computer-related products
  • Data entry speed of 40 wpm/10,000KPH with 99% accuracy
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Understanding the importance of detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Willingness to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Our Dallas location is growing and we are looking to fill multiple positions which include document preparation, data entry, document scanning, and quality control.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Rate: Starting at $17.75/hr (+$0.50/hr for 2nd shift) - paid biweekly
  • Eligible for SCA Pay of up to an additional $4.93/hr (if benefits are declined)
  • Location: 8600 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, TX 75235 (no remote work)
  • Monday-Friday - Full-time (OT may be required)
  • 1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm (subject to change)
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am (subject to change)
  • FULL BENEFITS – 1st Day of Employment
  • 2 Weeks Paid Vacation, 7 Paid Holidays + Sick Pay

  • Must be willing and able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance - no cost to applicant and we guide you through the process

POSITION SUMMARY (position may perform all or some of these functions, as well as other duties, as assigned):

  • Identifying the type of form
  • Applying the appropriate business rule
  • Prepping and scanning documents
  • Quality control of digital images
  • Review of the images and information and inputs data from the form into appropriate fields
  • Data that is inputted is verified and checked for accuracy
  • Following production procedures and completing internal documentation and tracking
  • Index Key Data into multiple software applications
  • Print Document Control Sheets for all records
  • Moving, stacking and shelving inventory
  • Inventorying box and file level inventory
  • Production oriented environment
  • Adhering to Imaging Center guidelines to maintain a clean work environment
  • Other duties specified by your Supervisor/Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with PC and other computer-related products
  • Data entry must be equal to or greater than 40 wpm/10,000KPH with 99% accuracy
  • Familiarity with PC and other computer-related products/administrative experience
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Identified candidate will need to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check successfully prior to start
