ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is seeking a DevOps - AWS Cloud Engineer for a key client in the Belgian Health Insurance Industry in Brussels. This role is within the Automation Platform Team, focusing on development tooling for application and infrastructure teams. The engineer will work on renewing and managing development tools, supporting the client's migration to cloud environments. Responsibilities include participating in technical projects, providing user support, collaborating with other teams, and actively contributing to roadmaps and solution architecture for tools like Nexus, GitHub, Jenkins, and HashiCorp Vault. The role also involves operational management of tools and leading migration projects.
Must have:

  • Provide support to users regarding development tooling.
  • Collaborate with other teams on solutions and technical projects.
  • Actively contribute to Roadmaps and solution architecture for development tooling.
  • Participate in agile scrum operations.
  • Design solution architecture for tools like Nexus, GITHub, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Sourcegraph.
  • Assist in operational management of development tools.
  • Assist in operational management of SaaS tooling like Udemy, Miro, Atlassian Jira, Confluence.
  • Lead migration projects related to development tooling.
  • Communicate with the internal Development Community.
  • Develop self-services to support migrations.
  • Draft Guidelines for tool usage.
  • Set up correct structure in development tools.
  • Provide support to Development teams in using tools, troubleshooting, and developing sample applications.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible.
  • Knowledge of Security: Authentication and Authorization, Active Directory, MS Entra.
  • Experience with Container environments such as Docker/Podman, Redhat Openshift, or Kubernetes.
  • Ability to use and monitor Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
  • Experience with Version control systems and CI/CD environments such as Jenkins, GITlab, GITHub.

Context

  • Within the Automation Platform Team, we are responsible for Development tooling for Application teams and infrastructure team.
  • Due to several planned projects, we are looking for a DevOps/Cloud engineer with a good sense of Development to work on the renewal and management of a number of Development Tools.
  • The client has been active for a number of years to bring applications to cloud environments, with an impact on the development tooling.

Role & responsibilities

  • Participating in the Team's technical projects
  • Providing support to users regarding development tooling
  • Collaborating with other teams to guide chosen solutions and technical projects
  • Actively thinking about Roadmaps and solution architecture for development tooling
  • Participating in the agile scrum operation of the team
  • Thinking about solution architecture of existing tools and of new tools to be set up such as: Nexus, GITHub, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Sourcegraph
  • Assisting in the operational management of these tools
  • Assisting in the operational management of existing SaaS tooling of the team such as: Udemy, Miro, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence
  • Able to take a leading role in migration projects related to development tooling
  • Communicating with the internal Development Community
  • Developing self-services to support migrations.
  • Drafting Guidelines for the use of the Tools
  • Setting up a correct structure in these tools.
  • Providing support to Development teams in using these tools, helping with troubleshooting problems, developing sample applications.

Stakes

  • The intention is to actively participate in a number of planned projects of the Automation Platform Team.
  • Migrations from a Gitlab environment to a GITHub SaaS environment.
  • Deployment of an internal Hashicorp Vault environment
  • Modernization of the existing CI/CD infrastructure based on Jenkins and contributing to a long-term roadmap.
  • Implementing a high-available solution for container storage and migrations from the existing Nexus environment to this environment
