Job Description

Within the Disneyland Resort, the Architecture & Facility Engineering Services Division program is specially designed to develop you professionally, increase your practical knowledge in your area of technical expertise, while also completing valuable work for the Resort. You will have a wide range of opportunities to assist and provide key data to A&FES Architects and Engineers on various type of projects including Attractions, Maintenance, Foods, Merchandise and Entertainment. You will assist project Architects in all phases of project work, from drafting, on-site as-built documentation, code research/ analysis, design coordination with outside design consultants, field data collection, light design/ production work, construction administration, and project closeout documentation for a variety of projects ranging in scope from minor rehabs to building new facilities.
Must have:
  • Prior related work experience in architecture or construction.
  • Strong leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with initiative, able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Availability for various shifts as per project needs.
  • Currently enrolled in an NAAB accredited Architecture Bachelor's or Master's program.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Not completed one year of continual Disney internship/College Program employment.
  • Comply with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
  • Consistent, reliable full-time work schedule (40 hours/week).
  • Provide own housing in Anaheim, CA for internship duration.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.

About the Role & Program:

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026- June 2026.

This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

This Internship is in Anaheim, CA.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist project Architects in all phases of project work, from drafting, on-site as-built documentation, code research/ analysis, design coordination with outside design consultants, field data collection, light design/ production work, construction administration, and project closeout documentation for a variety of projects ranging in scope from minor rehabs to building new facilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior related work experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on architecture or construction.
  • Demonstrated/proven strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Experience working with AutoCAD, REVIT and/or BIM (Building Information Modeling)

Education:

  • Senior or Graduate student currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Masters Degree at an NAAB accredited 5-year College or University studying Architecture.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher as shown on a transcript.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of

age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information:

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship,40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role as an undergraduate in CA is $30.00 /hr. The pay rate for this role as a graduate student in CA is $35.00/hr.
