Job Description

We are seeking a certified Dive Instructor fluent in Chinese and English to join the dynamic team at Dive Oceanus. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, underwater exploration, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude. Responsibilities include conducting PADI courses, leading guided dives, managing dive reception, assisting in the retail shop, preparing gear, attending briefings, and participating in Project AWARE initiatives to ensure an unforgettable experience for guests.

Must Have:

Conduct PADI courses of all levels in compliance with PADI standards and regulations.
Guide divers and snorkelers of different levels to sites around the area.
Man the dive reception, making guest reservations, diver registrations, and issuing dive equipment.
Assist in the retail shop, snorkeling rentals, and answer the phone according to Resort standards.
Prepare gear for students and boat divers prior to guest arrival.
Attend daily dive center briefings.
Attend guest parties or gatherings organized by Dive Oceanus.
Support and participate in Project AWARE projects organized by Dive Oceanus.
Minimum PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor with renewed membership in an active teaching status.
Emergency First Response Instructor certification.
Knowledge about equipment maintenance.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet browsers, and e-mail.
Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written) and good command of English.
Ability to make a maximum of three dives a day.
Ability to deal with fellow employees in a calm and professional manner.

Qualifications

Minimum PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor with renewed membership in an active teaching status

Professional role model
Must be able to make a maximum of three dives a day.
