Summary

This contract role (6 months, potential extension) for an Engagement & Retention Digital Product Marketing Manager involves leading the execution and optimization of e-commerce app engagement campaigns for a global marketplace with over 95 million buyers and 7.5 million sellers. Responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams (Product, Brand, Martech Engineering, Legal, Design, Marketing Analytics), streamlining campaign workflows, analyzing performance data, and utilizing CRM tools (Braze, Segment, Litmus, ReturnPath, HTML, SQL). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in CRM or Marketing Automation, a strong understanding of email deliverability standards, and experience building complex marketing automation campaigns. This fully remote position is based in Brooklyn, NY.

We’re currently seeking an Engagement & Retention Digital Product Marketing Manager (Contract) for a global marketplace that provides unique and creative goods.

In this exciting 6-month contract opportunity, you’ll join a dynamic Product & Retention Marketing Team, where you’ll play a key role in driving strategic, data-driven campaigns that enhance the in-app experiences for over 95 million buyers and 7.5 million sellers worldwide. This position is fully remote, based in Brooklyn, New York, with the potential for an extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution and optimization of e-commerce app engagement campaigns, creating customer-centric programs that enhance app experiences and drive buyer retention.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Brand, Martech Engineering, Legal, Design, and Marketing Analytics to plan and manage the CRM App Engagement roadmap.
  • Streamline planning processes and workflows to ensure the seamless execution of app-focused marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to continually improve campaign results.
  • Utilize CRM tools and platforms such as Braze, Segment, Litmus, ReturnPath, HTML, and SQL to build, test, and deploy app campaigns.
  • Manage campaign timelines, occasionally working outside normal business hours (including weekends, late nights, and early mornings) to meet campaign deadlines and urgent messaging needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in CRM or Marketing Automation, with a strong track record of building and implementing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Proven success in developing complex marketing automation campaigns, including the use of connected content calls, web hooks, liquid logic, and canvas.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver long-term campaigns successfully and on time.
  • Deep understanding of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR requirements, inbox deliverability standards, and data segmentation & attribution.
  • Experience with CRM tools including Braze, Segment, Litmus, ReturnPath, HTML, and SQL.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
