The FIAT/Payment Ops Finance Senior Manager will play a key role in facilitating fiat transactions on a global scale. Responsibilities include managing daily settlements and reconciliations, addressing payment-related issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves overseeing fiat currency transfers, resolving customer inquiries, analyzing settlement items, supporting future development efforts, providing performance reports, and assisting with accounting activities. The candidate will also be involved in suggesting improvements to settlement operations and supporting ad-hoc requests. The role is within a dynamic industry. The person will be part of the team that contribute to the growth and success of our platform.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in fiat operations.
- Proficient in financial reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in English.
Good to have:
- Previously worked at a crypto exchange.

Responsible for managing daily settlements, reconciliations, addressing and solving payment-related issues efficiently

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage customers' fiat currency deposits and withdrawals on the exchange platform, be responsible for overseeing and executing the transfer of fiat currency into and out of the exchange
- Reconcile daily fiat balances between the exchange system and bank accounts
- Resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing
- Analyse and highlight exceptional items related to settlements and collaborate with cross functional teams and banking partners to resolve the issues in a timely manner
- Support future development efforts by testing new product offerings
- Provide performance reports and analysis with metrics for assessing performance and improvements
- Support the accounting team with reconciliations and other payment-related activities
- Review settlement operations and suggest areas of improvements and automations
- Support on ad-hoc requests from the operation team or cross functional teams
What We Look For In You

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in fiat operations, preferably in cryptocurrency, banking, payment services, or fintech industries
- Proficient in financial reconciliation and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken
