Ubisoft is seeking a Global Esports Brand Manager for Rainbow Six Siege Esports. This role involves leading creative direction, campaign planning, and content production for global events and monetization campaigns. The manager will develop narratives, oversee content creation across various formats, and ensure timely, on-brand delivery. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners, and identifying outsourcing opportunities. The role also involves performance tracking, optimization, and supporting in-game monetization initiatives, requiring strong brand management, marketing, and project management skills.

  • Run post-campaign reviews to evaluate brand sentiment and content performance.
  • Lead creative and content support for R6 Share in-game monetization campaigns.
  • Strong experience in brand management, esports marketing, or content strategy.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end marketing campaigns with storytelling, content production, and creative oversight.
  • Deep understanding of esports culture, fan behavior, and creator ecosystems.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with creative teams, production vendors, and content creators.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Global Esports Brand Manager to lead the creative direction, campaign planning, and content production for Rainbow Six Siege Esports. From global events like the Six Majors and Six Invitational to R6 Share monetization campaigns and season-long storytelling, you’ll craft impactful campaigns that engage both the Siege community and a global esports audience.

This role blends creative strategy, brand stewardship, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll report to the Director of Esports Marketing and work closely with external partners and internal teams across publishing, production, creative, and brand at Ubisoft.

What You’ll Do

Brand and Campaign Leadership

  • Lead the creative direction, tone, messaging, and storytelling for global esports campaigns, ensuring alignment with audience insights and R6 brand identity.
  • Develop the narrative arc and visual identity across the esports season and key global events.
  • Champion the integration of pro players as central figures in our hero content and storytelling across all major campaigns.

Content Production Oversight

  • Own the content planning and execution across formats (trailers, hype videos, short-form, long-form, localized content), ensuring quality, clarity, and effectiveness.
  • Manage the development and delivery of all key campaign assets, working with internal production teams and external vendors/creators.
  • Ensure content is delivered on time, on brand, and on budget — from hero videos to supporting assets.

Strategic Planning and Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Build and maintain the global esports marketing macro plan, coordinating timelines across events, R6 Share releases, seasonal campaigns, and content initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional brand teams to align on campaign support, localization, and distribution.
  • Partner with esports production, external partners, comms, live experience, the R6 Brand team, and creative services to ensure seamless execution across all touchpoints.

Outsourcing and Creator Partnerships

  • Identify outsourcing opportunities and partner with creators, agencies, or content vendors to expand production capacity and diversify creative input.
  • Lead briefing, onboarding, and creative alignment with external partners and creators for marketing support, bundle reveals, and community-led content.

Performance Tracking and Optimization

  • Run post-campaign reviews to evaluate brand sentiment, content performance, and engagement metrics.
  • Integrate audience insights into content planning and continuously refine messaging and formats to improve impact.

Monetization Support

  • Lead creative and content support for R6 Share in-game monetization campaigns (partner items, bundles, promotional sales).
  • Align with the R6 Brand and Strategic Partnerships teams to support cross-promotional and sponsorship-driven initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong experience in brand management, esports marketing, or content strategy — ideally in gaming, sports, or entertainment.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end marketing campaigns with storytelling, content production, and creative oversight.
  • Deep understanding of esports culture, fan behavior, and creator ecosystems — ideally with knowledge of Rainbow Six Siege.
