Powtoon’s Enterprise practice is growing, and we are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Sales to help us boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
The Head of Sales will be a key member of our executive team, responsible for leading and scaling our sales operations. This role involves managing a high-performing sales team, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth through both team leadership and personal sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS sales, capable of selling to senior executives and leading by example.
We are searching for a Hunter, Player, Coach and Manager who will be responsible for:
Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to optimize performance and achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular feedback and coaching to team members.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members to build a strong and effective sales force.
Strategic Sales Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to define sales objectives and develop strategic plans to achieve them.
- Develop and optimise playbooks for inbound and outbound selling
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Manage sales forecasting and pipeline management to ensure accurate revenue projections and goal setting.
Personal Sales Quota:
- Directly sell to senior executives and key decision-makers, managing a portfolio of high-value accounts.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for personal accounts, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, SDR and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Provide feedback on product features and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the executive team.
- Utilise CRM and other sales tools to track performance, manage leads, and analyse sales data.
