Job Description

As an HR Generalist for France, you will play a pivotal role in supporting employees, collaborating with leaders, and driving HR initiatives within a dynamic, international environment. Your responsibilities will span HR operations, administration, communication, engagement, and legal support, ensuring smooth HR processes and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will manage Workday processes, handle onboarding, coordinate absence and payroll elements, and assist with Works Council topics.
Must have:
  • Manage HR processes in Workday
  • Handle VISA requests, job offers, and onboarding sessions
  • Coordinate absence management with our central team
  • Collect payroll elements with our local payroll expert and ADP
  • Respond to employee queries via Workday case management
  • Create and maintain local HR communications
  • Support global HR campaigns and tailor them for France
  • Develop engaging HR content and articles in Workday
  • Coordinate training needs with managers and external consultants
  • Manage OPCO relations with our consultant
  • Assist with Works Council topics at both country and legal entity levels
  • Support senior leaders in Works Council interactions
  • Prepare reports and legal documentation for consultations
  • A degree in HR, Law, Business Management, or similar
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or operational role
  • Strong knowledge of French employment law and HR administration
  • Experience with Workday and ADP payroll systems
  • Solid skills in Excel and the MS Office suite
  • Fluency in French and strong English communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

What You’ll Do

You’ll be involved in a wide range of HR activities, including:

HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage HR processes in Workday
  • Handle VISA requests, job offers, and onboarding sessions
  • Coordinate absence management with our central team
  • Collect payroll elements with our local payroll expert and ADP
  • Respond to employee queries via Workday case management

About You

  • 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or operational role
