Job Description
Cadence hires and develops leaders and innovators to make an impact on the world of technology. This role involves developing precise test cases for Design Rule Check (DRC) rules based on foundry decks with high quality using Virtuoso. You will collaborate closely with Process Engineering (PE) and Research and Development (R&D) on new features and enhancements for Pegasus DRC/FILL/Layout Versus Schematic (LVS)/Physical Verification of a Circuit (PERC), including deck coding and quality control (QC) pattern generation. A key responsibility is assuring the quality of the Pegasus physical validation tool by analyzing existing test suites and integrating customer cases as part of the regression test suite.
Must Have:
- Develop precise test cases for DRC rules
- Use Virtuoso for deck development
- Work with PE and R&D on Pegasus features
- Analyze existing test suites
- Validate code changes
- Integrate customer cases into regression
