Job Description

As Manager, CRM, you will drive forward seller communications for the global reselling app, alias. You will be the day-to-day owner of the Seller CRM program, setting up cross-channel campaigns and reporting on results. You will manage seller messaging, understand seller motivations, and become an in-house expert on seller behavior to drive towards optimal LTV. Responsibilities include overseeing A/B testing, partnering with Brand and Merchandising, establishing campaign health checks, presenting insights, and strategizing campaigns for scalable execution and personalization. You will also manage playbooking and documentation related to CRM initiatives.
Good To Have:
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake or Looker
  • Experience with scripting languages like Liquid
  • Marketplace, Loyalty, B2B and/or Luxury industry experience
  • Experience with multiple marketing channels
Must Have:
  • 4-5+ years of lifecycle/CRM experience.
  • Strong growth marketing background.
  • Experience with CRM tools.

About the Team

An instrumental part of GOAT Group, the Marketing team oversees a wide range of activities, which aim to build awareness, consideration and loyalty for our brands. As a member of this team, you will work to execute thoughtful, data-driven marketing campaigns that drive meaningful growth for the company. 

We are looking for a Manager, CRM to come in and drive forward seller communications in support of our global reselling app, alias. In this role, you will be the day-to-day owner of the Seller CRM program, setting up cross-channel campaigns in thoughtful, strategic ways and reporting on end-to-end business results. 

You are highly analytical, meticulously organized and enjoy diving into the details on segmentation and user journey program set up, while also connecting the dots on what strategies + tactics will drive towards company goals. 

This role will report to the Senior Manager, CRM and will partner closely across the Marcom (Brand, Product Marketing, Content, Merchandising and Growth Analytics), Seller Product, Business Development and Data teams. 

In this role you will: 

  • Manage seller messaging for owned channels (Email, Push, IAM) to drive seller engagement, conversion and retention 
  • Understand seller motivations and user personas, developing an understanding of the full user lifecycle and how marketing contributes to it 
  • Become an in-house expert on seller behavior and industry best practices for pointing cohorts towards optimal LTV 
  • Oversee A/B testing calendar and quarterly calendar planning to drive incremental improvement 
  • Partner with Brand and Merchandising on data-driven content and product strategies to drive new sellers and upsell repeat sellers to a higher lifetime value 
  • Establish regular campaign health checks against core KPIs and make active recommendations for optimization 
  • Present actionable insights to the team on a biweekly basis to drive cross-team alignment and informed decision-making 
  • Strategize campaigns and automations to allow for scalable execution and personalization
  • Manage playbooking and documentation, including developing and improving processes, key insights and slide presentations related to the assessment of CRM initiatives 

We are looking for: 

  • 4-5+ years of lifecycle/CRM experience, with preferred experience in mobile apps
  • Strong growth marketing background and industry knowledge of customer acquisition, engagement, retention and journey mapping through email, push, in-app messaging and SMS 
  • Extensive familiarity working with CRM tools such as Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, etc.
  • Comfort with the technical, regulatory and product side of marketing (audience segmentation, IP deliverability, GDPR, etc) 
  • Ability to critically think on behalf of the user (seller) 
  • Highly data-driven and well-organized with strong project management skills
  • High attention to detail 
  • Intermediate knowledge in HTML/CSS 
  • Collaborative with an affinity for building relationships across teams
  • Experience working in markets outside of North America 
  • Curious Mind: your wheels are always turning; you’re receptive to feedback, ideating constantly, excited by new opportunities and inclined towards action 

Bonus Points:
