As Manager, Field Marketing Events – AMER, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of Autodesk-hosted and third-party field marketing events across the AMER region. This leadership role involves managing a team, driving process improvements, and collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment, scalability, and innovation. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering impactful global field events, valuing creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a customer-centric approach to achieve business results and memorable experiences for diverse audiences.

Must Have:
  • Lead a team of AMER-based event managers responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of field events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Worldwide Marketing, Sales, Industry Strategy, Products, and external vendors.
  • Manage regional agency relationships and ensure compliance with Autodesk’s brand, legal, and privacy standards.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of FME’s event frameworks, governance, compliance, and best practices.
  • Coach and support Field Event Managers and contingent staff, fostering professional growth, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Drive the development and adoption of standardized processes for event submission, prioritization, and reporting.
  • Leverage tools such as Airtable, Marketo, Salesforce, PowerBI to track event performance, budget, and ROI.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure event success, track ROI, and inform future event strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in field marketing, event management, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to manage complex event portfolios across geographies and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, Airtable, and Allocadia.
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25% of the time.

Position Overview

As Manager, Field Marketing Events – AMER, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of Autodesk-hosted and third-party field marketing events across the the AMER region. You’ll manage a team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment, scalability, and innovation across the broader Field Marketing Events team. This is a proactive leadership role for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and delivering measurable impact.

You’ll join Autodesk’s Worldwide Marketing (WWM), Growth & Partner Marketing (GPM) , Field Marketing Events (FME) team — a collaborative, innovative group dedicated to delivering impactful field events globally. The team values creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a customer-centric approach, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive business results and create memorable experiences for Autodesk’s diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of AMER based event managers responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of field events across AMER, and other regions, including Autodesk-hosted experiences, and third-party trade shows
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Worldwide Marketing (WWM), Sales, Industry Strategy, Products, and external vendors
  • Manage regional agency relationships and ensure compliance with Autodesk’s brand, legal, and privacy standards
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of FME’s event frameworks, governance, compliance and best practices
  • Support global initiatives such as Autodesk University, and ABM cluster activations by providing regional insights and executional support
  • Coach and support Field Event Managers and contingent staff, fostering professional growth, collaboration, accountability, and innovation
  • Drive the development and adoption of standardized processes for event submission, prioritization, and reporting across North America
  • Leverage tools such as Airtable, Marketo, Salesforce, PowerBI (Marketing Performance Dashboards), and others to track event performance, budget, and ROI
  • Integrate digital and hybrid event strategies to maximize reach and engagement; pilot new technologies (e.g., AI-driven planning, social amplification tools)
  • Utilize data analytics to measure event success, track ROI, and inform future event strategies
  • Implement sustainable event practices, reflecting Autodesk’s commitment to environmental responsibility
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and adapt to changes in the event landscape, including technological advancements and shifting audience preferences
  • Design events to meet the needs and expectations of Autodesk’s customers, enhancing their overall experience and engagement with the brand
  • On occasion, manage some key events, ensuring their successful execution and alignment with Autodesk’s strategic goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in field marketing, event management, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
