Join ZURU as a Global Marketing Executive in New Zealand to manage brand strategy, lead activation planning, and collaborate with local markets for global impact. This role involves being the guardian of global brand frameworks, driving activation plans, and ensuring alignment with local marketing teams. Key responsibilities include brand and activation planning, managing brand guidelines, delivering global asset suites, briefing specialist teams for content creation (product copy, photography, TVCs, influencers, social media), and maintaining e-commerce brand asset portals. You will also create sales reports, lead content for global marketing activations, and work with partners.

Join our NZ team as a Global Marketing Executive own brand strategy, lead activation planning, and partner with local markets to deliver and track global impact!

Role Impact
With a deep understanding of our consumer. This role is about being guardian of our brands framework globally, driving activation plans and asset creation with specialist teams and conduit for managing assets & delivery to local marketing teams for execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Brand & Activation planning across portfolio – twice yearly. Lead global strategy and asset creation planning for your brand portfolio. Providing direction to local marketing teams for in market execution, to ensure campaigns align globally and best in class assets are used.
  • Owner of your brand portfolios brand guidelines, including briefing and maintenance, partnering with design and product teams, to ensure the brands are consistently represented globally.
  • Delivery of portfolio’s Global Asset Suite
  • Briefing all specialist teams and trafficking assets to ensure on time delivery of: Product copy written, proofed, and sent to platform team for upload and all product photography needs are briefed to specialist teams and uploaded.
  • Ensuring lifestyle photography needs are briefed to specialist team, management of shoot samples, assisting specialist team to manage NZ photo shoots including talent, and sample coordination. Being the product and brand hero in the room.
  • Brief TVC deliverables around items, communication messaging, audience, and timings to ensure TVCs align to brand guidelines and are delivered in time to meet local market execution.
  • Brief influencer deliverables around items, communication messaging, audience, and timings to ensure influencer campaigns align to brand guidelines and are delivered in time to meet local market execution.
  • Brief & support social team for content creation that aligns to brand framework and guidelines and meets global and local timelines.
  • Provide brand & product proof points for PR and approve releases.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of the portfolio’s ecommerce Brand Asset Portals, day to day management of portals and ensuring ecommerce platforms are using all best-in-class assets.
  • Creating monthly NPD global sales reports for your brand portfolio, sharing insights to the wider business to track brand performance and monitor competitor landscape.
  • Content lead for our Global Marketing Activations, partnering with commercial team to create Presentation Decks for your brand portfolio and leading of all assets for the Presentation Decks.
  • Working with partners for key global marketing activations.
  • Management of office product samples, storage and sample room maintenance

Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in brand marketing or agency roles, with strong knowledge of brand and activation planning across multiple portfolios.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, set clear goals, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, results-driven, creative, and passionate about delivering best-in-class brand outcomes.
  • Strong interest in market trends and consumer behavior to keep campaigns fresh and relevant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience briefing creative and specialist teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, to create clear, impactful presentations supporting global marketing activations.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external partners to manage asset creation, delivery, and tracking across markets, ensuring timely project and campaign execution.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, capable of managing brand guidelines, asset portals, product samples, and cross-functional communication efficiently.
