Join UNSEEN as our Marketing Manager and help shape the world of KEMURI!

We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Marketing Manager to drive the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for UNSEEN’s first game, KEMURI. In this role, you’ll craft impactful campaigns across the entire game lifecycle and lead influencer and community strategies that captivate and inspire players around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis for game titles to formulate effective marketing strategies
  • Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns, utilizing social media , online advertising and influencer marketing for promotional activities
  • Collaborate with first parties, agencies and media partners to enhance game visibility and impact
  • Manage Marketing and PR Teams:
  • Build a capable Publishing team that can support development and launch of KEMURI
  • Train and evaluate team members, providing support to achieve their goals
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to boost brand awareness and create a positive image around studio and game
  • Monitor Market Trends:
  • Continuously monitor gaming market trends to implement the latest marketing techniques and promotional strategies
  • Understand and adapt to changing consumer needs and preferences, reflecting them in product strategies
  • Community Management:
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with the player community, gathering feedback to improve game development
  • Develop and execute communication strategies utilizing social media
  • Plan and Manage Events:
  • Organize and manage game launch events and various promotional events
  • Prepare for participation and exhibitions at domestic and international game shows and expos

Skills & Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience in marketing or production within the gaming industry
  • Experience launching Console/PC titles globally
  • Experience in managing Marketing or PR teams
  • Proven project management experience with strong leadership skills
  • Deep knowledge and track record in digital marketing, social media management, and advertising strategies
  • Experience in analyzing and implementing market trends
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Japanese at a business level
  • Able to work in Tokyo (In office/hybrid)
