Job Description

The Marketing Manager, B2B will be responsible for creating content across all B2B marketing initiatives, including events, EDMs, paid and content marketing. This role reports to the Marketing Director and will collaborate with various teams. Responsibilities include owning the B2B content strategy, email marketing, performance marketing copy, creating white papers and reports, blog content, case studies, and event collaterals. The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date with B2B marketing trends and competitor activities.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of copywriting or content marketing experience.
  • Ability to write strong briefs and communicate ideas.
  • Understanding of B2B writing for content marketing.
Good to have:
  • Agency experience is an added advantage.

Job Summary
Coda is seeking a creative, motivated, data-driven Content Marketer for the B2B arm of the business. You will be responsible for crafting content across all B2B marketing initiatives across Coda.co, events, EDMs, paid and content marketing. The B2B Marketing team’s goal is to generate and connect leads with our sales teams, products, and services in the best ways possible. The role reports to the Marketing Director, B2B and will be a key strategic collaborator with the Commercial, Product, Brand and Design functions along with the broader Marketing team.

B2B Marketing Team Objectives 
1. Drive awareness and engagement. Scale lead flows through top of funnel marketing activities, including but not limited to: Coda-owned events, industry events, content marketing on Coda.co, and marketing channels (SEM, SEO, social media, email, etc.)
2. Generate nurture, and close leads to drive revenue. Convert awareness to consideration through optimization of lead (Coda.co UX/UI forms & lead flows), deal, and lifecycle funnels.

Responsibilities:

    • Own the B2B content strategy - From ideating, copywriting, and reporting which includes content production, distribution and success measurement.
    • Email Marketing - Ideate and design EDMs, drip emails, and newsletters from copywriting to campaign activation via HubSpot by crafting content specific to where a customer is in their lifecycle stage.
    • Performance Marketing Copy - Creating impactful B2B digital advertising copy and campaign concepts across multiple platforms (including SEM, LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and WeChat)  to build awareness, increase website traffic, and generate leads. 
    • White Papers and Reports - Identifying industry trends and presenting insights via reports and white papers to position Coda as a credible source of truth and thought leader.
    • Blog - Generating consistent long-form content to increase SEO rankings. 
    • Case Studies - Analyse data to craft customer success stories and repurpose content across multiple marketing channels to generate leads.
    • Event collaterals - Crafting content for events such as flyers, decks, pre-event, during- and post-event marketing materials across multiple platforms and touchpoints
    • Working closely with the Brand and Design team to create impactful creatives that drive lead generation.
    • Stay up-to-date with B2B marketing trends, technologies, and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for driving innovation and competitive advantage.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, business, or a related field 
    • At least 4 years of experience as a copywriter or content marketer
    • Ability to write strong briefs and communicate ideas to designers effectively
    • Experience working collaboratively across functions and teams
    • Strong understanding of B2B writing specifically on content marketing and lead generation
    • Agency experience is an added advantage
    • Knowledge of gaming and live streaming industries is a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision making.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
