The Modality Sales Specialist DXR for South Germany will play a key role in increasing market share, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency through targeted customer loyalty measures, service process optimization, and close collaboration with sales and technology. Responsibilities include providing clinical and technical expertise, creating product configurations and price proposals, conducting presentations and negotiations, performing product demonstrations and training, developing sales strategies, analyzing needs, managing leads, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in medical capital goods or IT or clinical/medical environment.
  • A completed degree (technical, business, medical).
  • Good knowledge of compensation structures in healthcare in Germany.
Must Have:
  • Support (Key) Account Managers with clinical and technical expertise in the sales process.
  • Create customized product configurations, service models, and price proposals.
  • Conduct offer presentations and negotiations.
  • Perform product demonstrations and training at congresses, trade fairs, customer events, or internal meetings.
  • Develop coordinated sales strategies, conduct needs analyses and forecasts, and achieve sales targets (Order Intake, revenue, price realization).
  • Observe competitive activities and industry trends.
  • Process customer inquiries and complaints to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive improvements in close cooperation with Customer Service and implement Lean Management principles.
  • Ensure precise lead management (SFDC Accuracy), maintained master data, and reliable monthly business forecasts as Opportunity Owner.
  • Several years of professional experience in healthcare or healthcare services.
  • Many years of clinical experience in the medical field.
  • Very good knowledge of healthcare processes.

Job Description

Do you want to make a real difference with your expertise in healthcare? In this position, you take on a key role: With targeted customer loyalty measures (e.g., campaigns), the optimization of service processes, and close cooperation with sales and technology, you make a decisive contribution to increasing market share, increasing customer satisfaction, and improving operational efficiency.

Your Job:

  • You are an expert in devices, software, solutions, and services and support our (Key) Account Managers in the sales process with clinical and technical know-how.
  • You create customized product configurations, service models (including upgrades of the installed base), and price proposals. This also includes preparing offers and selling products, updates, upgrades, and consumables to existing customers – with the goal of expanding follow-up business.
  • You conduct offer presentations and negotiations – together with the (Key) Account Manager or independently – and convincingly present the advantages of our solutions.
  • Whether at congresses, trade fairs, customer events, or internal meetings – you conduct product demonstrations and training and impart your knowledge to doctors, nurses, medical technicians, and colleagues.
  • You develop coordinated sales strategies in the team, conduct needs analyses and forecasts, and are responsible for achieving your sales targets (Order Intake, revenue, price realization).
  • You observe competitive activities and industry trends and derive valuable feedback and ideas for the further development of our portfolio.
  • You process customer inquiries and complaints to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • In close cooperation with Customer Service, you drive improvements and implement Lean Management principles.
  • As Opportunity Owner, you ensure precise lead management (SFDC Accuracy), maintained master data, and reliable monthly business forecasts.

You should bring the following:

  • Several years of professional experience in healthcare or healthcare services.
  • Many years of clinical experience in the medical field.
  • Very good knowledge of healthcare processes.
  • Ideally experience in medical capital goods or IT or clinical/medical environment.
  • A completed degree (technical, business, medical) is desirable, but not a prerequisite.
  • Ideally good knowledge of compensation structures in healthcare in Germany.
  • Convincing, binding demeanor and equally high sales affinity.

This is a field-based role, requiring regular presence at customer sites across Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. You’ll work independently while staying closely connected with your team and stakeholders.
