Overnight Production Supervisor

Sika is looking for an experienced Overnight Production Supervisor to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business.

The Production Supervisor will oversee all of the operations on their shift.   The individual must be able to delegate tasks, resolve problems, and ensure a smooth operation with their assigned team of machine operators. 

• Manage shift production, 12 employee departments, time-off requests, and training
• Assign duties to employees and oversee their development
• Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed
• Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed through training
• Handle Employee administrative needs with Human Resources

Preferred Skills

• BS Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• 5 – 8 years of Supervisory experience with dynamic continues processes
• Knowledge of MS Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• SAP, MRP/ERP experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to be a self-starter with the ability of switching tasks based on production demand
• Strong communication skills – multilingual skills preferred but not required
