Job Description

This role is responsible for planning and executing user growth strategies for overseas community businesses, focusing on virality, subsidy programs, and task systems to drive product iteration and achieve growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of overseas game players and proven experience in user acquisition and retention through community-driven initiatives. Key responsibilities include proposing growth strategies, exploring new business opportunities, optimizing user experience, and monitoring key metrics. The role also involves researching competitor strategies, conducting A/B tests, and managing KOLs and core users to design engaging marketing activities around game updates and esports events.
Must have:
  • Plan user growth for community business, including virality, subsidies, and task systems, and oversee product iteration for growth results.
  • Possess methodologies and practical experience in community viral growth, activity task systems, and user growth for overseas game players.
  • Propose diverse growth strategies based on business scenarios, explore new growth points, and ensure user experience.
  • Monitor key community metrics, research competitor strategies, optimize operations via A/B tests, and identify new platform opportunities.
  • Manage community KOLs and core users, design marketing activities based on game updates and esports events.

Job Description

1. Responsible for user growth planning for community business (including but not limited to virality, subsidy strategies, task systems), tracking the launch and iteration of community products, and being responsible for growth results;

2. Familiar with overseas game players, with corresponding methodologies and practical experience in community viral growth, activity task systems, and user growth systems for new user acquisition and retention, good at innovation and systematic thinking;

3. Propose different growth strategies based on specific business scenarios, explore new business growth points, and be responsible for user experience;

4. Monitor key community metrics, research competitor community growth strategies, optimize operational strategies through A/B testing, and explore emerging platform opportunities;

5. Manage community KOLs and core users, and design hot marketing activities in conjunction with game version hotspots and esports events.

Job Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in overseas user growth or community operations, game industry preferred.

2. Proficient in growth hacking strategies, familiar with funnel optimization, viral marketing, SEO/SEM and other growth methods.

3. Proficient in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, basic SQL), capable of independent data insights.

4. Deep understanding of the algorithms and operational rules of community platforms such as Discord/Reddit.

5. Excellent English communication skills, able to adapt to multi-timezone collaboration (focus on European and American markets).
