The Performance Marketing Director will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of global paid digital marketing initiatives. This role focuses on driving demand, pipeline contribution, and customer acquisition at scale. Working with cross-functional teams, the director will enhance customer engagement, brand awareness, and revenue growth through various digital channels. Key responsibilities include managing paid search, display, social, retargeting, and affiliate campaigns, overseeing budgets, and implementing robust performance tracking.

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Marketo, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce) is a plus.

  • Drive demand, pipeline contribution, and customer acquisition at scale.
  • Manage digital acquisition channels: paid search (SEM), display & programmatic, social advertising, retargeting, and affiliate/partner campaigns.
  • Oversee the marketing budget for paid channels.
  • Develop and manage full-funnel campaign plans, performance forecasts, and A/B test roadmaps.
  • Implement robust performance tracking, attribution models, and dashboards to monitor KPIs.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in integrated campaign management or marketing strategy in B2B SaaS.
  • Deep fluency with platforms like Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, DSPs, GA4, and Amplitude.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.

Position Overview:

The Performance Marketing Director will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of all global paid digital marketing initiatives with a singular focus on driving demand, pipeline contribution, and customer acquisition at scale. Performance Marketing Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, product, analytics, and sales, to drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital acquisition channels: paid search (SEM), display & programmatic, social advertising (LinkedIn, etc.), retargeting, and affiliate/partner campaigns.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign planning—from audience segmentation and creative development to delivery and optimization
  • Oversee the marketing budget for paid channels, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to financial goals
  • Develop and manage full-funnel campaign plans, performance forecasts, and A/B test roadmaps.
  • Translate product and brand narratives into performance campaigns that drive customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Define customer segments and personas for targeted marketing strategies, tailoring messaging and paid campaigns to diverse audience groups.
  • Implement robust performance tracking, attribution models, and dashboards to monitor KPIs (CAC, ROAS, MQLs, pipeline contribution).
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in paid marketing, cloud networking, and the broader technology landscape to inform strategies and initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Partner, Channel and Data Analytics to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts with broader business goals.

  • Achievement of campaign KPIs and contribution to pipeline generation and revenue targets.
  • Optimization of budget to pipeline generation, MQLs, AQLs, across campaigns, tactics, and channel mix.
  • Operational efficiency gains, including reduction in campaign cycle times and increased team productivity.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in integrated campaign management, marketing strategy, or related disciplines, in B2B SaaS companies with comparable scale to Extreme Networks ($500M to $5B in revenue)
  • Experience launching and scaling paid programs for consumer hardware, e-commerce, or mobility products.
  • Deep fluency with platforms like Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, DSPs, and analytics tools (GA4, Amplitude, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Marketo, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
